Just who could resist this gorgeous packaging {antique labels + tartan bows}?
Cheers.

You may have noticed the advertisements for Lillian Hellman's THE LITTLE FOXES at the Pittsburgh Public Theater featured here these past few weeks. I've journeyed back to Pittsburgh to work on this exciting, new production of an American theater masterpiece. I thought you all might enjoy seeing some of the promotional stills from the production and {scroll down} for some footage on film! Just a little glimpse of what I've been working on: I do hope you enjoy!
{Don't you just love the big bow + long braid? I feel like a little Victorian doll!}.
Synopsis: Living in 1900 in the New South, the wealthy Hubbard clan will go to any lengths to get even richer. When a lucrative business venture beckons them, they turn against each other in a vicious struggle fueled by greed and the lust for power. Acclaimed actress Helena Ruoti will play the coveted role of Regina, made famous on the screen by Bette Davis, and on the stage by Anne Bancroft, Elizabeth Taylor, and Stockard Channing, to name but a few.

As promised, here's a sneak peek on the set of THE LITTLE FOXES with PPT artistic director Ted Pappas {and scenes from the show!}. Can you spot me?
...still, one can never be too certain. The poll's been split 50/50 nearly all week long + I simply must hear more of what you think on the subject. So, have at it!
Do or Don't? Would you wear this style?

Hip hip hooray! I am {oh!} so happy. It just must be my lucky day!
Cheers.
I squealed with surprise and delight this afternoon when I came across this dress/cape hybrid on Christina Ricci {via the always-reliable, often-squeal-inducing Go Fug Yourself}. A bold choice, it must be said, but something about this look is really working for me. And you can tell she feels fabulous in it {just look at that expression!}. As the marvelous Isaac Mizrahi once said, "Style is 75 percent confidence and 25 percent...I don't know." See, confidence is key!
Watch how these frames magically transform into a vase, a shelf, and a hook.
The idea is to "decorate and emphasize the objects within. Turn flowers, books, keys, jewelry, articles of clothing, and other ordinary objects into works of art." Awesome.
Play it androgynous-chic this season, circa Annie Hall-era Diane Keaton. Inspiration:

1. It's hysterical.
I had a good friend in college who swore by the comfort of Clarks Wallabee: a simple, unique, hand-sewn moccasin which has gained almost cult-like status since it's introduction in 1965 {this friend also happened to wear flannel like nobody's business and knew every lyric Phish has ever sung - get the picture?}.
You can imagine my intrigue when I came across this Cole Haan Air Bootie on Vogue. Similar concept + structure, but with an added wedge for the lady folk.
